Walking through the Confusion of the World
Writing Prompt: Do You have a great sense of direction?
There have been so many movies, where you see a disoriented character, who has been drugged, escape his captors, to find himself on a busy street. There are times in life when we are not really focussed when we get confused on a busy street or at work, when we have been working on a project and something else needs to be attended urgently.
Confusion and chaos are things we are all familiar with in life. It is how we manage stress and our work during these situations, which is important. In the movies, the confused character finds someone or sees something that looks familiar, and that connection puts everything into focus. In life, we do something similar, when we find someone or something, we know, and we clear our minds to handle the situation. The confusion clears, and we can make sensible decisions once again.
As a writer, do you sometimes reach a point, where you are completely confused and do not know where to take the story? You find that once you go back to the plot of the story, you get a clearer picture of your story and the direction, your characters and story need to go towards, its final objective.
Do you have a great sense of direction, in life and in your work as a writer or as a creative artist? How do you manage to get your life and work into focus and complete what needs to be done? It is possible, that you write things down and attend to each task on your list, or you meditate and clarity sets into your mind.
