Caesar was the black sheep of the family. He was never going to amount to anything in life, he was told by almost everyone. He was a rule breaker in school, it just got worse and worse, there seemed to be an invisible curse, his mother said one day. He was finally expelled from the hallowed school halls of knowledge and wisdom. His father was a stern disciplinarian who worked at the mill and his punishment was harsh. The young boy was whipped like a dog every evening when his father returned drunk from work. The scar upon scars he collected during the war years, like a miser counts and collects his coins.
Caesar was hated for no fault of his own, he needed to escape this life and make a new one. He was bitter and angry but knew his life had a purpose. Young Caesar was a teenager, when he joined the army where he excelled in the art of war, it was his calling, it was who he was born to be in life. He loved the order and the discipline and he was needed by the army. He was making a difference and he had found his purpose. This was his family and protecting his country was what he wanted to do in life. Caesar turned his anger and bitterness into dedication, triumph, and victory over his demons.
The young Caesar was a great fighter and he knew no fear. He was a raging warrior of strength, with nerves of steel, there was no one and nothing that could overcome him. He was loyal to his country and he was the bravest of the brave on the battlefield. Through crossfires and enemy minefields, he guided and led his unit. He carried wounded soldiers off the battlefield on his back when he had to save them. The army and the soldiers called him a super-soldier; he was the “Lion of Battles”. He loved what he did defending his country, his people, and his beliefs that evil should not exist in the world. He received honors of gallantry. It was peace and unity that he hoped to achieve in life and believed that it was his destiny.
After seven years in the army, Caesar returned home to see his mother. His father, Jericho Jones, the nasty and brutal punisher had departed this world. Caesar hoped in his veins that the man would get his punishment for all the evils he did in life, as he battered his only son and his cowering wife. Caesar’s mother introduced him to her neighbor’s daughter, young Julie Ann. After a year, the young couple was married and six months later Caesar’s son Fred was born. Caesar was in the army and kept going to one battle after another, the world was a violent world and no country was safe.
