The more she looked at the clouds, the more they seemed to speak to her. Diana watched the puffy white clouds sail by across the clear blue sky. Every cloud that moved across the blue, had a message which rang true. The clouds were not just clouds to Diana, they were her memories, her past, her present, and her future.
In this cloud-watching state of meditation, Diana got impressions of her parents, who always took her on the best holidays. There in the bright sunshine under a cloud-filled blue sky, Diana spent her childhood. Sometimes she felt so free and alive than she thought she could fly. Those feelings had disappeared with adulthood when the reality of life hit her hard. Watching clouds drift by, across the clear blue sky, was her meditation card.
Diana looked at the white billowy clouds that sailed by and thought of all the friends and lovers who had caught her eye. Some promised so much and yet were so empty and hollow, like dried kernels, tossed onto the sea shore, under a blue sky. While her good friends stayed with her through thick and thin, helping her through struggles and celebrating every win.
The white clouds that came towards her eye, reminded her of all the opportunities she had coming towards her. While those clouds that sailed past her eye, were the missed opportunities and dreams, Diana could not get as they dissolved into the bosom of the blue sky.
When you watch the sky today, you may just tend to see, that all the dreams and memories, that were forgotten, are so fresh and alive on a clear blue sea. Cloud watching is just a hobby for some, to be done with an element of fun. However, when you stop thinking and start to see, you will find, that those clouds hold memories, which are treasures like a goldmine for you and me.
