Wednesday is named after the Germanic God Wodin (Odin) during the Roman era and was interpreted as “Germanic Mercury”. Odin is the most prominent God in traditional Norse mythology and is associated with “war luck, royal power, rune power, and wisdom.” This is my reason for naming this newsletter “Wednesday Wisdom Newsletter”.
According to a survey, employers are more receptive to requests from their employees on a Wednesday.
Wednesday is often used for fictional characters and English Football clubs.
In Japanese, the word for Wednesday means “water day”, as it is associated with the planet Mercury, which means, “water star”.
