When the Tears Have Dried the Heart is Empty

Will you fill that emptiness?

There were tears, a lot of them,
Like the rain falling like droplets,
Down her transparent window pane.
She was heartbroken and she felt,
That she would never find love again.

There was an emptiness in her heart.
Her throbbing heart was in pieces.
Every piece felt like a sharp shard.
Would there ever be love for her?
Was romance ever going to come again?
It was shining like a pure red playing card.

The tears had dried on her cheeks.
Ever salty teardrop had marked her,
Every drop that fell had hurt her so much.
Bedelia felt that she was lost at sea.
All she needed was a tender touch.

After the tears had disappeared,
It was as empty as an empty gift box,
When that special something is removed.
How do you fill an empty vacant heart?
An echo will not fill that hollow heart.
New-found love does fill every part.
