There are some people who look out for themselves because that is just the way they are, due to circumstances in their lives. It could be because they are alone and they need to take care of themselves, when they do not have family or their family has abandoned them.
A number of people who feel the need to look out for others in their life do it because they have generous hearts. It is their way of giving back to society. These individuals join charitable organizations in order to help others. These people are usually not rich, but they are ordinary people who genuinely care for others, at work, in their families and for the less fortunate in society.
I look out for my family members, my colleagues, friends and for those who do not have enough in life. It is always a good feeling to have someone looking out for you in life. Growing up my parents and friends looked out for me. Today, my family members look out for me and for one another.
Who do you look out for in your life? It could be your family members, friends or those who are not economically strong and the vulnerable in society. It is also possible that you need to look out for yourself, as it is what makes you resilient and capable of taking care of yourself, if you do not have friends or family members who really care about you and your wellbeing.
I have noticed that there are many bachelors, spinsters, the elderly, and young people who live, work and feel truly alone in life. These are the people who need to hear a kind word from someone who makes them feel that they are a vital part of society. In order to evolve as a balanced individual and a fully formed human being we all need to lookout for someone in life. It is only by looking out for the well being of others, do others know you care and they will take the time and lookout for you. Be a more caring, charitable, supporting, fostering and nurturing person this year.
