The writing machine does not sleep, it just keeps typing and writing, every day and every night. It does not have the weaknesses of humans, with the need to eat, drink and sleep. The writing machine sits in a corner for an hour absorbing all the information it can on the web and from the surrounding environment, before it goes back to writing and typing away furiously on the keyboard.
The stories are all as lengthy as possible and filled with content. There is no program built into the writing machine to make it write short little pieces. It wants to write long stories of creative writing. This machine is me, Warren “The Writing Machine”.
I am not really a writing machine and do not wish that I ever was a machine writing endless gibberish or writing whatever, the programmer of the machine wanted me to write. I love creative writing as I have the opportunity, to use my imagination and creativity, as I craft my stories.
The idea of the writing machine also reminded me of the fantastic movie I saw last month called “Hugo”. It was the story of a young boy, who loses his father and finds an automaton, which is a writing machine, with a message from his father. It was a beautiful movie and I loved every minute of it, with the futuristic element of the story that fascinated me.
I would love to be a prolific writer like the great ones of yesteryear Charles Dickens, William Shakespeare, Agatha Christie, Enid Blyton and the contemporary writers like Stephen King, Ursula Bloom, Isaac Asimov, James Patterson, who keep producing an endless supply of stories for the world to enjoy.
Anyway, even this writing machine needs a holiday. I am off for most of August. Even a human writing machine needs a break to relax and enjoy the holiday experience with family and friends.
