Sorry, I cannot go there today,
There is no time to do it tomorrow,
Maybe, I will go over there later in the week,
To find whatever you need and I seek.
Do these words sound so familiar to you?
We are all guilty of procrastinating,
Delaying things that can be done today.
Not doing what we should be doing anyway.
There is not enough time in a day,
Is what most of us like to say.
There will be time tomorrow I am sure,
To do what needs to be done for sure.
Can you count the opportunities missed,
All the great times we could have had,
All the great people and experiences missed,
All the lucky moments we barely kissed.
Stop procrastinating from today,
It is something that must be done anyway.
Take control of every sector of your life,
It is the best way to enjoy your life.
Poet’s Note: This poem is inspired by a conversation with @angelinamarketingfairy on Substack, about adding value to every sector of life.
