Where does the wind blow?
The Vikings used weather vanes on ships,
To show them the direction of the wind.
Churches used weather vanes with roosters,
To show Peter’s denial of Christ.
Some weather vanes have riders which are rare,
The next time you see one, stop and stare.
The winds of life change direction.
They can sometimes blow in your direction.
At other times you may walk against the wind.
The weather in life changes every time,
There are cold winters and warm summer flowers.
Dry leaves in the breeze take flight in autumn.
Green leaves sprout when winter is gone.
