Welcome, to the latest issue of the “Sword of the Samurai Newsletter”. Have you heard or read any news about bravery and courage this week? There are so many people around us who do acts of heroism almost every day, yet we do not notice. If you happen to see someone doing something outstanding, remember to compliment them.
If a person does something courageous, take the time to thank them. So many rescue and aid workers came forward to help people during the recent hurricanes in Florida. Whenever some catastrophes and situations put people in harm’s way, we find ordinary people doing extraordinary things and making a big difference in society.
Here are a few poems I wrote that have been added to this newsletter.
The Blade of the Samurai
“It is good to face challenges in your youth. He who has never suffered will not sufficiently temper his character.”
The Barbarian and the Amir
The galleon waits under a starlit sky as the Moon turns blood red, the rough waters are dark and murky, as the sins of the pirates who set sail on yet another rampage across the high seas. Their leader was the young King from Cimmeria, Conan.
I would like to recommend these amazing writers and their works in this newsletter. Thank you all for enriching Substack with your work.
Thanks for sharing these amazing stories!
