This is a beautiful memory, Warren. I could feel the joy of that day. :) I didn't know your mother passed away when you were so young.

Thank you Orla. I blended fact with fiction. Mum passed away 18 years ago and Dad passed away this year. I only have one sister, but the story about the tree was the fact in the fiction. Thank you so much for your kind feedback and you must be so excited as the Christmas season approaches. I remember the Christmas tree event, with gifts and sweets, he would have for underprivileged children of the neighbourhgood and from parishes in the city, every year since the age of nineteen. It was part of his tradition as a young man, that he did till last year, not missing a year. :)

That's a good creative tip of mixing fact with fiction. Thanks, Warren. Yes, I thought you mentioned that your Mum's passing was more recent. Your father was a special person, always doing good.

That is true Orla, Mum passed away in 2008, but it feels so long ago. Yes, blending fact and fiction always adds power to storytelling. Have a great weekend Orla.

Yes, Dad did a lot of work during his lifetime and he will be missed by me and for those he worked for in the city of Kolkata and those who knew him abroad.
